03 cavalier was misfiring. Took the car to grismer in Troy, got a call it was finished. Picked it up, seemed to be misfiring a little, then check engine light came on. I returned to the location, expressing my concerns about their work. They said they’d make it right at no extra cost. Turns out, first time they replaced an ignition “pack”. 2nd time they replaced the ignition “module”. That cures the problem. In the mean time, they also replaced a brake line at no extra cost. Bottom line, the first go around was expensive. I shared that with them. But they guarantee their work, which they did, and made it right and then some. Next time, and I just saw this feature on their website, I’ll get an estimate. Will I go back for future service? I may.
I had an exhaust problem that I knew Grismer did not work on, however, when I called Kelly (Mgr) said they could have a company they work with pick my car up there and get the work done and return my car there. Not only was the problem taken care of and at a low cost but I had my car back home in less than four hours! Talk about service above and beyond!! I am continually an extremely satisfied customer of Grismer. A special thank you to Kelly!!
I got a hole in my tire on my way to work, so I had to have my car towed here. I called and let them know it was coming, and what it needed. They called me as soon as it got there, with the different options I had. I told them what option I wanted, and they had it done, ready and waiting for me when I got off work. I was super impressed! I told them I will be bringing my car there for any needs I have from now on! Everyone was super nice and very helpful!
I needed to have the front rotors and pads replaced on my 2015 Kia Optima. i checked around and Trotwood Grismer had great reviews. I also talked to previous friends who had work done at this facility and the gave 2 thumbs up! I called the day and spoke with Rob & Dan to make sure they could get me in and out before noon and they said yes. Great customer service, competitive priced and quick and responsive service. I would recommend highly and use again.
