"The Dayton Book Fair is the largest used book sale in Ohio. This year we took about 35 tons of books to the Book Fair and we estimate that approximately 8 of those tons came from books donated by the community through Grismer Tire. That works out to be about 16 pallets worth or 432 cartons of books for an average of 17,000 books!  

Each year the proceeds go to benefit three local non-profits, we choose three new groups each year to receive a grant, usually in the neighborhood of $10,000 each.  For a small non-profit that grant can make a huge difference in whether or not they can continue with their programs.

Though it is important to us that we raise money for other non-profits through the sale, we believe there is great value in providing individuals with a meaningful place to donate their books, and we are very grateful for the fantastic assistance Grismer Tire has provided us in this part of our mission.

Additionally, I’d like to say on everyone’s behalf here that it is always such fun to pick up the books from the stores— the guys are very friendly and helpful and we appreciate their efforts and goodwill so much".
